I was one of the millions of people that flocked to the theater to see the movie Finding Dory This adorable children’s movie follows up on the original Finding Nemo story, and gives us a little bit of Dory background. Kids (and me) everywhere rooted for Dory to find her parents. The love of the character as well as the theme touched hearts everywhere and created a must-have drive for costumes featuring the characters in the movie. The most sought after costumes from the movies are Dory herself, and of course Nemo. The Finding Nemo – Dory Costume would be a great brother and sister costume set!

This forgetful little blue tang fish makes a lovely costume for children. You can find some that are made of a beautiful blue dress with the wide-eyed fish character featured front and center in the middle of the costume to make your child’s night special.
I love the dresses that come with a tutu that’s made as part of the costume… This costumes are whimsical and fun, perfect for dress up even after Halloween.
Some have fins just like the character has, others have a headband piece that matches the outfit.

Finding Nemo Costume (Fishie)
Of course, one of the other popular costumes in Finding Dory is the much loved character of Nemo. These costumes aren’t going to stay on the shelf long thanks to the sheer number of kids clamoring for them.
You can get a version of this lovable clownfish for your child, but you’ll want to do it fast. There are a few different versions of this costume.
One type is a Fish Suit that comes down to just below the child’s waist. It’s done in an orange color and features white and black stripes in the center of the fishie as well as at the hem and the collar. The top and bottom of the white stripe is lined with a black stripe to mimic the clownfish markings. And it puffs out thanks to the stuffing that’s designed to help it keep its form.
There are fins on the body (LUCKY FIN) and those are not detachable, on both side fins as well as a back one. The hood has the facial features of Nemo, some are attached, some can be removed.
Because of the stuffing, you can only hand wash this costume if it needs cleaning.
